Ye Olde Gaming Society (YOGS)

YOGS is a club of game enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the playing of games of all genres, including but not limited to board games (classic, strategic, Euro, rail), role playing games (tabletop, live, mystery dinner), card games (classic, collectible), miniatures (fantasy, historical, sci-fi, clay).

The Bigger the Better: because it’s cool and not possible to do at home, we encourage macro sized games. Our first contribution is a mega chess set (see photos below).

We are looking for GMs of all types and players willing to teach others their favorite games. Contact us if you have any ideas or requests or wish to run a game: court@yeoldecommons.com

YOGS standard membership for the year is free. Standard membership includes: the member can attend any YOGS regular event, play on the giant chess board for free during any YOGS event, participate in testing game prototypes, and a membership card.

YOGS royal membership for the year is $25. Royal membership includes: the member can attend any YOGS regular event, get discounted admission to YOGS special events, play on the giant chess board for free at any time (worth $5/game), get a snack coupon booklet (worth $12), participate in testing game prototypes, a complimentary LIONE Renaissance Faire ticket (worth $10), and a membership card.
